How to Replace Sliding Door Rollers (and Save Money)

We supply and manufacture new wheels and rollers for all sliding doors, regardless of age. We always use them without the colored steel bike rollers. This means that there are 4 wheels under the replacement sliding door wheel. Having 2 wheels at the front and 2 wheels at the back means that the door can glide over any bumps, imperfections or minor damage in its path. Each wheel only carries a small proportion of the weight of the door and is also important in reducing the amount of wear on the track during sliding door wheel replacement. Replace sliding door,

Most sliding doors are made from aluminum or PVC plastic. They are durable and usually provide many years of service before you need to worry about them, with many doors operating for 10 years or more. The continuous sliding door wheel was replaced by a house wheel, as a balcony filler, single glazing. This meant that they were smaller and caused less wear and tear on the wheels, rollers and tracks in the yard. The wheels on sliding doors at the back of the house are usually much larger as this is often the location of the window. Rear doors are usually double glazed, which also adds weight, which is why rear sliding doors often have rollers that wear out first, regardless of whether the front door is used more frequently.

Some steps to replace sliding door wheels:

A common problem with sliding doors is cracks and wear on the wheels. This causes the door to zigzag, meaning it doesn’t slide flat. Replacing the wheels with new ones can fix the problem, and it can be done regularly at home.

Remove the sliding door:

Find the screws behind the door and use a screwdriver to unscrew them. Get an extra person to keep calm and remove the door from its frame.
